For our practice music videos, we had to learn how to mime a track, my group ad the track called "RESPECT". We had camera us mouthing the song about five times, but in different scenes.
The editing was however, so different from the editing in our As thriller work, as we had to drag all of our shots in final cut pro. and then add markers on every beat, so that there is an edit on a beat, and its easier to cut out (using the cut tool) were you have done a mistake or were you dont like a part of the clip.
We also had to edit the track onto final cut pro, and mute the camera shots we had taken.
in order to mouth the lyrics, we obviously had to have the music playing out loud, and the lyrics printed out, to help memorise it.
